q) Allerdale Borough Council – re: Wagons leaving port. Richard Cain has spoken to Harbour Master who has confirmed that wagons should be sheeted before leaving the Port. He has spoken to Thos Armstrongs, DA Harrison’s and W Armstrongs and asked them to speak to their drivers. If problem persists, contact Mr Cain again.
r) Cumbria Minerals and Waste Local Plan Consultation – Documents and plans can be viewed at http://www.cumbria.gov.uk/planning- environment/policy/minerals_waste/MWLP/Consultations2016.asp. Comments by 5 July 2016.
s) Email from Tim Shield at Cumbria Highways to confirm that work will be carried out to the footpath between Causewayhead corner and Silloth.
t) Department for Communities and Local Government – Call for applications for the 4th round of Coastal Communities Fund in England. Closing date 30 June 2016.
u) Centenary Fields Programme – Information about the programme and how to apply. The objective is to secure recreational space in perpetuity, in honour of the memory of the millions of people who have lost their lives in the conflict.
v) Cumbria Central Heating Fund – Information about the fund which may be useful for members of the community.
w) CALC – Changes to law re: bankruptcy. Information about changes to the law regarding bankruptcy being an automatic disqualification to serving as a member of a local authority.

dd) Letter from Sue Hayman asking if the Parish has good Broadband connectivity. ee) CWGC – Information on the Living Memory project.
ff) Cumbria County Council are working with the Lake District National Park and other partners to develop a ‘Corridor Travel Plan’. Comments are requested.
gg) West, North and East Cumbria Success Regime – Invitation to stakeholder update session.
Stakeholder meeting will take place on 11 August – Carlisle (afternoon).
hh) North West Coastal Access (NE) – England Coast Path: Gretna to Allonby consultation.
Comments required by 19 September 2016.
ii) Maryport Town Council are setting up a joint working party to consider how tourism can be better promoted in West Cumbria and asked if the Parish Council would be interested in taking part in such a proposal.
jj) CALC – Nominations requested for members to serve on CALC Executive committee for a 3 year period. Nomination forms to be returned by 14 October.
