Thanks to John Graham, Margaret Wright, Andrea Sowden, Norman Dainton, Carol Jones, Duncan & Christine Findlay, Tom Brown and Wendy Jameson for taking part in the Holme Low litter pick this morning. After litter picking between Barracks Bridge and Causewayhead corner, we decided to head along West Causewayhead Lane and managed to collect over 20 bags of rubbish. Luckily we managed to avoid any rain. Afterwards we went back to Silloth Community Hall for a well deserved cuppa and a “Scrumptious” baguette. Thanks to Allerdale Borough Council for loaning us the equipment and providing the bin bags.
